Everything happens for a reason

Friday night I hardly slept at all, just thinking about our game Saturday night vs. Prattville. I must have visioned 1,000 different plays in my head. Saturday morning I arrived at the field house at 8 a.m. to eat breakfast with the team. We had biscuts and then went through a 30 minute walk-through. It wasn't hard to sense the vibe that everyone was anxious and ready to play. This is what we worked the past 2 and half months for. Then came the bad news. Coach Grass told us the game had been cancelled due to the bad weather coming in. Disappointment immediately filled the room and we all went home knowing their would be no game to be played. I wondered what God's purpose in this decision was? Maybe someone would have been involved in a car accident or some other kind of tradgedy could've occured. It made me realize that God doesn't make a decision like that without some kind of reasoning. Maybe we don't understand it at the time, because we're so caught up in what's goin on around us. Just remember to have faith, because God is the coach that will always call the perfect play at the perfect time.
